The LumenSoft team has been busy adding new features to the restaurant versions of both Candela and Nimbus RMS.

In this newsletter, we are sharing features tailored to meet the evolving needs of the restaurant industry. Read on and discover how our new functionalities will revolutionize the way you manage and engage with your restaurant business.

A new feature is introduced in Candela Food (12.1.8.6) to address a common challenge: what happens when certain menu items run out of ingredients, temporarily preventing fresh orders?

With this feature, accessible through Utilities > Restaurant Configurations, you gain control over your menu in real-time. The user-friendly interface displays all menu items in a grid, allowing you to easily identify those with unavailable ingredients.  You can promptly block these items for sale by using a check mark against the ingredient, ensuring that wait staff cannot accept orders for dishes lacking the necessary ingredients.

Discover enhanced convenience with the latest update to Nimbus RMS Restaurant software! Nimbus RMS now has a dedicated dashboard for restaurants.

The dashboard, accessible from the main left-hand side menu, streamlines all restaurant-related activities, allowing users to configure halls, tables, kitchens, and track delivery personnel, all from a single, user-friendly dashboard.

The latest version of Nimbus RMS now enhances your customers' dining experience by adding modifiers to ordered dishes, allowing customization to your customers' preferences. Whether it's 'less sugar,' 'extra strong,' or 'less spicy,' tailor each dish to perfection.

Discover the flexibility of modifiers by adding toppings such as extra fries, cheese, olives, and more. 

When on the sales and return screen, simply load a menu item and click the modifier button (M icon). This will display all attached modifiers for the dish, allowing you to select and modify the dishes according to your customers' requirements.
