My name is Noor Fatima. I am a final-year Business Analytics student at FAST NUCES, and I am here to share my internship experience at Lumensoft Technologies.

Getting started at a new workplace can be overwhelming, even for someone like me generally a funny and easygoing person, though I sometimes have that look on my face. When I joined Lumensoft Technologies, I felt the same way. I was nervous walking in for the interview, but Ms. Naureen Amjad’s brightest smile immediately put me at ease, melting away the tension and making me feel like I’d stepped into a place where people were truly welcoming.

Even though it wasn’t my first internship experience, I learned a great deal from this place. On my very first day, the other interns and I had the opportunity to meet the CEO, Mr. Abdul Aziz, who was warm, approachable, and genuinely interested in hearing our thoughts despite us being new. Over time, I learned how work can be communicated effectively without being overly critical.

As a student of Business Analytics, a degree that’s still relatively new, I’ve noticed that many companies or supervisors don’t fully recognize its value and tend to focus solely on the tasks at hand. That’s why I’m especially grateful to Ms. Naureen for giving me the freedom to explore my interests and encouraging me to see the bigger picture beyond the immediate work.

When I first joined, I ran into Wasifa. She’s the one who broke the ice, helped me figure out Nimbus POS in those confusing early days, and was just… super kind and warm from the start. Then I met Saima and Farah, being seniors, they made sure I felt comfortable whenever we talked about work, which honestly meant a lot.
By week three, Fatima showed up and instantly became my partner in crime. She pretty much drags me to work every day, if I don’t show up, she gets all dramatic because she gets bored without me

They’re my hype squad. They let me be myself, no judgment, and that’s the best feeling ever.Some of my favorite moments: getting everyone together for Uno or Heads Up, having lunch as a group and sharing whatever we’d brought from home, making snack runs with Fatima to the shop next door, running on sugar rushes and too much caffeine, cracking endless jokes, eating fries we didn’t even like, after-work group catch-ups… the list goes on.And of course, I can’t forget Sir Faisal and Sir Zohaib , my ultimate work besties. Sir Faisal’s always got a joke ready (and his chai and biscuit, obviously), and Sir Zohaib’s the one hyping me up and pushing me to do better. Honestly, both of them are truly great individuals.

Talking about work , I picked up so much here. I learned the ins and outs of marketing and sales, how Meta ads work, how to figure out your target audience, and what strategies to use to keep customers happy. I also got to understand how a POS works and what focused marketing strategies can make the biggest impact.

The best thing about Lumensoft Technologies is that they actually listen to their customers’ concerns and keep improving their software day by day. In my opinion, it’s a company with a strong reputation and real dedication.

My biggest takeaway from this internship is that a supportive environment and open-minded leadership can make all the difference not just in learning technical skills like marketing strategies, POS systems, and audience targeting, but also in growing the confidence to share ideas, collaborate freely, and enjoy the work along the way.

I appreciate the valuable experience I’ve gained here and wish the company continued success.
